We started GG Farms on 80 acres in Minnetrista, Minnesota. "GG" is Gina's nickname and a nod to Scott's decades in the gaming industry, where "GG" means Good Game.
Scott founded BFG Technologies, worked at NVIDIA, and was SVP/GM of AMD's Radeon Technologies Group. Gina grew up on a farm in Iowa and enjoyed working at Life Time for 20 years. Health and wellness has always been important to us.
When it was time for a new chapter, we chose to create something we love — healthy eating.
Our sons Julian and Charles are also heavy lifters on the farm.

Our state-of-the-art GrowSpan greenhouse runs year-round regardless of what Minnesota weather throws at us. Two independent growing zones — one for leafy greens in NFT channels, one for fruiting crops in Dutch bucket systems.

NFT Channels — Leafy Greens
Our Nutrient Film Technique channels grow lettuce, arugula, spinach, kale, basil, and microgreens in a continuous flow of nutrient solution. Multiple varieties running simultaneously — harvested fresh every week.
Dutch Buckets — Fruiting Crops
Tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers grow tall in our Dutch bucket system — individual buckets, drip irrigation, precision nutrients. Each plant is trained, pruned, and hand-pollinated for maximum quality.
Every Plant Starts Here
Every crop starts in our dedicated seed shed — germinated under controlled lighting, grown in rockwool, and carefully staged before transplanting into the greenhouse.
